Since 1945, Simmons’ AmeriMOVE has been dedicated to providing continued community support and understands the importance of working together while lending a helping hand.

AmeriMOVE provides a full range of moving and storage services to the Southeast as one of Allied Van Lines’ largest agents in the region. Our goal is to provide our Tallahassee moving customers with the highest quality moving services available in the industry today. AmeriMOVE is dedicated to utilizing the latest technology to enhance the services we provide our customers. We strive to always be courteous, timely, informative, honest and to treat the property of our customers as we would our own.  AmeriMOVE is a new name for a company with deep roots. AmeriMOVE provides over 100 years of operational moving experience. In Tallahassee, Simmons’ AmeriMOVE has been in business since 1945 and has been an agent for Allied Van Lines since 1957.

Allied Van Lines, formed in 1928, is the world’s largest and the nation’s oldest van line. Allied’s parent, Allied Worldwide, has operations in 36 countries and the number one market share in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia.  The AmeriMOVE company is owned and operated by brothers Ben and Jesse Trevathan, who bring a combined 45 years of moving experience to the company.

The National Forwarding Company released their latest annual Customer Satisfaaction Surveys and AmeriMOVE Ranked #1 of all their domestic agents.  Out of 399 Agents, Simmons' AmeriMOVE was the only agent to receive a 12.0 Rating out of a possible 12.0!
AMSA, the American Moving and Storage Association,  is launching a new consumer protection and certification program called ProMover on January 1, 2009.  This initiative is designed to fight imposters, known within the industry as “rogue operators,” like never before by giving consumers an easy way to separate reputable, professional movers from con artists out to make a quick buck at their expense.
